Chef Express – Dubai Internet City

Hello, friends! čśÇ

Next time you’re stuck in Dubai Internet City or Dubai Media City during the afternoon after a long (and unpleasant) client meeting and can’t decide where to go for lunch, then head on over to Chef Express for some great American food that will help in cheering you up!

It is usually packed during the day as there are tons of people having lunch here but surprisingly, never really noisy. I’ve been here a few times before and have always loved their pasta and fajitas. The portion size is excellent (especially if you’re with colleagues and want to share), staff is very friendly, the menu isn’t hardcore, and you won’t be spending a ton of money to get some great tasting food as well. Sounds great right?

Boneless Buffalo Wings (AED 27)

Honestly, I would have loved if they had a quantity option of eight and sixteen but sadly, they don’t. So we went with the order of five, and the wings quickly disappeared LOL. I won’t call them my favorite, but they are decent for ordering as an appetizer.

Dynamite Shrimp (AED 39)

Here is another place in Dubai, trying a rendition of the famous Dynamite Shrimp. It’s good considering the place is serving American food, but again, I would have liked the quantity to be more than what they currently serve. The sauce itself is good though so you will enjoy them (but maybe not as much as the original Dynamite Shrimp at P.F. Changs).

Chicken Fajitas (AED 47)

I am a fan of Fajitas, and these are great at Chef Express! Lots of different flavors as and when paired with the grilled vegetables and are┬áserved with fresh Tortillas, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo, and Guacamole. I don’t know what seasoning they are using on the chicken, but it tastes great and is very┬ájuicy!

Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken (AED 45)

I’ve been here thrice already and every time I’ve ordered their Fettuccine Alfredo pasta because it’s great! We always ask them to add extra sauce though as no one likes dry pasta (unless it’s a salad)! The chicken is soft, has so much flavor, and they serve it with toasted bread. Good stuff *thumbs up* čÖé

Head over to Chef Express next time you’re in the DIC or DMC area looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price. I’m going to try the burgers and steaks next time. I’ve heard they are delicious!
