Moshi (Summer Menu) – Oud Metha

If you’re looking to have some sushi with a twist, an experience unlike other, then no other place in Dubai is going to sway you like Moshi will! 🙂

This place is known for their fusion menu and most of the stuff that I’ve had at Moshi has been pretty darn good! With a second branch recently opened in Oud Metha, first one being in Al Barsha, Moshi has been successful in making everything bigger and better this year! WOOT WOOT!! The restaurant vibe is very welcoming with colorful decor and extremely friendly staff (I’m serious…The manager and servers are always smiling!) making my experience start on a very positive note. I was very excited as and when they graciously invited me to taste their summer menu. Unfortunately, due to work commitments, I couldn’t attend the tasting…bummer right? Finally I managed to clear out my schedule and pay them a visit last week and man was I satisfied! I came out rubbing my tummy, utterly swooned by the awesome food I was served.

Strawberry Mojito (AED 18)

We started our meal by ordering Strawberry Mojitos. After a very long day at work the slightly sour kick was much needed! The mojito was refreshing and wasn’t very  sweet either (which is a good thing).  I know it might sound strange but I don’t like drinking milkshakes with my meal if it includes meat (or fish) so unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try their Lotus Milkshake which I have been hearing is quite awesome (will pick this up next time when I’m at Moshi).

Chicken Chips Oman (AED 29)

Next… it was sushi time (YAASSS)! First up, Chicken Chips Oman Sushi. This has been my favorite since the restaurant opened last year and there is no denying that it was talk of the town. I’m a HUGE Oman Chips fan so the idea of it included on a sushi roll was so surprising (and amazing). The good thing is that now you have an option of having it with chicken as well. Guys, trust me – if you do not like the idea of eating sushi, you should try this to clear all misconceptions. You will absolutely love it and I can guarantee that you will head back for more.

Hot Dog Maki Roll (AED 28)

Next up, Hot Dog Maki. If you’re a hot dog lover, and want to try sushi for the first time – give this a try. We really liked it and it didn’t take us long to finish the roll (less than five minutes hehe).

Flamin Chicken Cheetos (AED 32)

Last but certainly, clearly and definitely not the least was the Flamin’ Chicken Cheetos sushi roll. OHHHMMMYYGGOODDDDDD guys it was so soooo good. I remember sitting back and grinning at my plate after I started to eat this because it is the kind of food that will make you smile. The heat from the cheetos and the chicken with the spicy sauce will make you go…OOfffhhh! If you don’t have any plans today – GO TRY IT! Moshi, a small request – Can you please add this to your regular menu?

Sriracha Edamame, Dhokla Maki and the Volcano Roll are on my list of things to try when I visit Moshi next (which will be very soon).

Congratulations to the entire Moshi team (especially Rahul and Khush) for a great job, yet again! Also, thank you very much for this really cute gesture for #ASliceofLife. It was super nice and awesome (just like your Nutella Maki which was fab!)
